Korkfarbe consists of 90% cork, 10% high-quality acrylic and minimal amounts of preservatives such as those found in shampoo or dish soap. We only use the best quality cork granules. The paint is filled or sprayed 3 to 5 mm thick, so you get a durable texture that protects against all weather conditions.

- What are the advantages of Protekork Korkfarbe?
Korkfarbe has an extremely long lifespan, and can permanently cover even larger cracks without additional tissue. Prevents water from penetrating into the masonry. Minimizes algae growth. Due to the coating thickness of 3-5mm, it is the optimal insulation for border construction, stucco facades and all other walls (K value 0.039) due to the low weight, the elasticity (up to 35%) and the extreme adhesion (10 kg per cm²) is the best way to revise cracked ETICS. It does not contain biocides, but only small amounts of preservative as found in detergent or shampoo. A cork coating does not pose a fire risk and is open to diffusion.
- Why Protekork Korkfarbe indoors?
- It prevents the formation of mold on cold walls and rooms are heated up more quickly. It is very resistant to mechanical and chemical loads. Crack formation is prevented on OSB boards or plasterboard and the acoustics improved put.
- Why should I coat my flat roof with Protekork rubber?
- It is a very flexible UV-resistant coating that has been sealing flat roofs in Spain for decades. Due to the bright surface, the surface temperature can be reduced by almost half on hot days, this is a big difference for the effectiveness of the roof insulation very inexpensive. Can easily be painted over after years, and rubber-coated roofs can be walked on even in extreme heat. (eg for maintenance of the solar system) Prevents the existing bitumen layer from drying out and cracking, thus considerably extending the life of the bitumen coating.
